Communication, SATCOM and electronic systems aboard surface ships, submarines and naval drones must remain fully operational in the presence of propulsion and machinery vibrations , hull-borne dynamic loads, wave-induced shocks and combat events.

Naval vessels combine three vibration regimes that no other platform encounters together: continuous low-frequency wave-induced motion, narrow-band propulsion vibration from engines, gearboxes and propellers, and severe high-amplitude shock events from underwater explosions or weapon impacts.

Additionally, electronic equipment on warships must operate continuously over decades, in highly corrosive saline environments.

Isolation systems therefore have to combine broadband vibration control, shock survivability and corrosion resistance — while contributing to the vessel’s overall acoustic signature when stealth matters.
