Off-the-shelf packaging assumes a generic cargo and a generic journey — but high-value equipment and specialized transport are anything but generic.

The right protection depends on the equipment’s specific mass, fragility thresholds and resonant frequencies, matched to the actual shock and vibration spectrum of the planned route. Getting this wrong in either direction is costly even dangerous: under-protection risks damage, while over-protection adds weight, volume and cost.
