Electronic Systems of Wind Turbines

Wind energy devices and associated electronic equipment are affected by vibrations resulting from the movement of the blades. Socitec develops wire rope isolators to protect equipment from this vibrational phenomenon, thus extending their lifespan. We also design specific damping solutions for offshore wind turbines, which are subject to pitching caused by waves. Our equipment reduces the disruptive effects of wind turbine vibrations on marine life.
