SYMOS

Shock and vibration simulation of mechanical systems

SYMOS is a computer program for the analysis of mechanical systems subjected to shock and vibration.
The model is built with rigid bodies connected by elastic or dissipative elements....
SYMOS provides linear and nonlinear analyses.

A postprocessor module allows :
• 3-D animation of the model.
graphics display of model response.
some complementary analyses (shock spectrum, Fourier spectrum).

SYMOS program applications are multiple : structural motion, flexibily mounted systems calculation, help to shock and vibration test calibrations....
SYMOS program is also used as educational tool for schools and universities.

SYMOS program consists of 4 modules handled by userfriendly menus system :
